Overview:
Hyeprever, a pioneering developer of quadruped robots, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to enhance and manage our cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud solutions that support our advanced robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, network architectures, and system security.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust cloud architectures.
- Manage and optimize cloud applications and infrastructure components to achieve the best performance and cost efficiency.
- Deploy and maintain cloud solutions and documentation for both production and development environments.
- Monitor the health of the cloud infrastructure, responding to incidents and anomalies to maintain system availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-based services and architectures.
- Implement automation tools for efficient cloud operations and deployment processes.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and practices in cloud operations.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of major cloud service providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficient with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Solid understanding of network layers, protocols, and management.
- Knowledge of data storage solutions, both SQL and NoSQL, and their optimizations in cloud environments.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
Plus:
- Certifications in cloud computing platforms (AWS Certified, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management solutions.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications, including the use of firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
